Oksana Chashkina at The Other Art Fair Sydney – May 2025

From 8–11 May 2025, Oksana Chashkina joined more than 120 independent artists at The Other Art Fair in Sydney, held at the White Bay Cruise Terminal. Over four days, the event combined original artworks with immersive installations, performances, DJs, and a lively bar atmosphere — creating an experience where art felt both accessible and unforgettable.

Oksana was personally present throughout the exhibition, meeting visitors, sharing insights, and guiding them through her vibrant world of faces and emotions. Her presence made the booth more than just a display: it became a space of conversation, connection, and artistic exchange.

Selected Highlights from the Booth

Among the many works presented in Sydney, several stood out to visitors for their detail and symbolism:

  • Intuition – Geometric abstraction with pearl-like textures, evoking clarity and inner perception.
  • Goddess of the Heart – A serene portrait radiating balance and feminine energy.
  • The Transience of Time – A powerful blue-toned work featuring an hourglass and clock, reflecting on impermanence.
  • The Inevitability of Change – Fragmented layers of color forming a bold portrait, capturing transformation.
  • Update – A close-up portrait blending sharp realism with vibrant, digital-like strokes.

These paintings were part of a much larger presentation, each contributing to the dynamic and immersive experience of Oksana Chashkina’s exhibition wall.
